Specialized in Transportation and Traffic Signal Systems since 1978 Registered P.E. (Professional Engineer) in Texas (1980)
Currently employed by the City of Richardson, TX where I have been involved in testing traffic signal controller software being developed for the cities of Dallas, Fort Worth, Richardson and Irving.
Have developed several Python programs over the last year to assist in the traffic signal upgrade project (upload/download capability, log readers and real-time status alarm map). I have also written a camera control program with PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) support that integrates VLC with our traffic surveillance system. All of these programs utilize Pyside (Qt) for the user interface.
